Five SBT ballets staged overseas
"Since we made our debut at the Opera Nova Festival in Bydgoszcz, Poland in 2015, we have staged five of our works including Carmen, Xi Shi, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet and Cinderella overseas. Tang Yin staged at National Centre for the Performing Arts
Tang Yin, one of SBT's original ballets, received positive response from the audiences when it was performed on Apr 21 and 22 at National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Beijing. It is the third of SBT's works staged at NCPA following Romeo and Juliet and Xi Shi.【MORE】
SBT ballet Xi Shi tours to Nanjing
SBT's original ballet Xi Shi was staged at Jiangsu Centre for the Performing Arts, Nanjing, on June 2. It was the second appearance of the show in the capital of East China's Jiangsu province and the fifth leg of its six-city tour across four southern provinces including Hunan, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Guangdong and Jiangsu.【MORE】
"Suzhou Cinderella" to dance in Qatar
Suzhou Ballet Theatre (SBT) left Suzhou on Nov 22 (Beijing time) for the State of Qatar to give four performances of its modern ballet Cinderella from Nov 29 to Dec 1 (local time). Before this, SBT visited the country once in 2016 with another ballet The Nutcracker.【MORE】
