According to Tang Hongmei, representative of the LCR 2018 Organizing Committee, this year's event saw more races, more participants and more parallel activities.

"We are trying to make LCR a higher-level international event, and hope to offer more chances for citizens to take part in it. So, we had canoeing and parasailing experience activities this year," Tang said.

"I joined the LCR 2013 five year ago. This year's event is obviously an upgraded one, larger and more professional. I will come back next year," said a Dutch sailing enthusiast.
