In the fourth leg on Aug 12, SZSO gave a show at Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The event, however, was not just an art show, but also one to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Treaty of Peace and Friendship between China and Japan. Music therefore became a language for diplomatic exchange.

Actually, the Singapore leg of the tour was of similar significance. "It is SZSO's debut in Singapore as well as a celebration for the 24th anniversary of the cooperation between the Chinese and Singaporean governments in the development of SIP," Chen said.
