SIP-HMITZ: a modern industrial cluster with increasing international competitiveness

SIP-HMITZ boasts concentration of a variety of high-growth industries. There is a quickly expanding cluster of healthcare businesses, with both multinationals like Eli Lilly, JNJ and Roche Group and domestic companies such as MedicalSystem. There are also the clusters of smart manufacturing, trade logistics, high tech businesses and high-end equipment manufacturing. The five clusters in combination have laid a solid foundation for the fast development in the area.

In 2017, the total tax contributions of SIP-HMITZ-based enterprises accounted for one third of the total of all the enterprises in SIP, and SIP-HMITZ ranked top in terms of output, number and tax payment of enterprises above designated size and Fortune 500 enterprises.

On the other hand, SIP-HMITZ's continuously enhanced support for the enterprises has boosted the enterprises' confidence and determination in expanding their operations and upgrading their business portfolios in the area. For example, Delphi, Magna, Greenland, TOT Biopharm and SPIL have signed agreements to launch or expand their projects.

With these advantages and achievements, SIP-HMITZ is developing toward a more and more internationally competitive modern industrial cluster.
