As one of the events during the 6th Suzhou Jinji Lake Art Festival, the Chinese Young Sculptors' Invitational Exhibition kicked off at Suzhou Jinji Lake Art Museum on Sept 9 and will last till Nov 26.

On display are 27 sets of sculptures created by eight young Chinese artists. The works demonstrate their understanding of traditional and contemporary art. According to Liu Libin, curator of the exhibition, the event is aimed at offering the visitors a chance to experience different statuary art from the works that incorporate the artists' own explorations in and reflections on art.
