SIP art troupe promotes Chinese culture to go global

The Flower Season Youth Art Troupe has visited Turkey, Poland and Romania for cultural and art exchange since 2012, aiming to promote the communication between China and foreign countries as well as cultural exchange between Suzhou and foreign cities along the "Belt and Road".

The show in Singapore started with a dance named The Chinese New Year. The jubilant performance excited the audiences and offered them a chance to learn about the Chinese customs during Chinese New Year. Galloping War Horses, an erhu (a traditional Chinese musical instrument) ensemble, followed and led the audiences to imagine the scenes of the cavalrymen's defense to guard their country.

The Kunqu Opera titled Wandering in the Garden, which innovatively incorporated the traditional singing with dance, intoxicated the audiences. Some audiences had the luck to get on the stage to learn Kunqu Opera performance after the show.
