SIP Xinghai Plaza turned into a crowded place when the 5th "Sungent Cup" Suzhou Youth Science Popularization Community Tour 2016 unveiled its last stop "Wisdom Session" here on the afternoon of November 26.

This year's science popularization community tour wound up in various innovation-oriented activities, such as "Amazing Innovation" Lego creative works show, "Knight in Battle" robot arena knockout, "Making a Name by a Goal" robot fixed-point goal-scoring challenge, "Nano Exploration" 4D science popularization painting, etc. 

The month-long event series for the youth held 12 public service sessions of science and technology on such three subjects as dream, happiness and wisdom at Hudong Neighborhood Center, Dongshahu Neighborhood Center and Xinghai Plaza on three consecutive weekends.

Chen Erdong, a grade four student from Qingjianhu School, was queuing for the fixed-point goal-scoring challenge. According to him, he signed up for science and technology courses originally at the request of his father, who is an electronic engineer, "But now, I've fallen in love with science and technology. Take the robot in my hands for example, from the easiest assembly all the way to programming, I've already understood its working principle."

As the event's permanent organizer, SIPYCC has been working hard to explore the new content of science popularization activities, expand the coverage of quality out-of-school education, keep improving youth's creative spirit and practical ability and build an extensive platform for the young people to fall in love and participate in science and technology activities.
