During April 27 through May 6, a series of theme activities are scheduled in the areas around Jinji Lake in Suzhou Industrial Park, including decorated boat parade, peach blossom appreciating, fashion shopping, exhibitions and shows, film festival, design fair, air balloon design competition, and invitational sail boat racing. The place also serves as the main venue of the opening ceremony of the 15th Suzhou International Tourism Festival and the 2nd Jinji Lake Business Tourism Festival.

4On the evening of April 27, at the opening ceremony of the second session of Jinji Lake Business Travel Festival, the organizer arranges petty train parade through scenic spots, entertainment performance at the pavilion in the middle of the lake, lighting show on Peach Blossom Isle, music fountain, Brazil BBQ party, 3D lighting show, and boat parade.
From April 27 to May 1 during Romantic Peach Blossom Season, tourists are welcome to film & TV exhibition, lantern show, traditional Chinese wedding ceremony, Ferris Wheel Park, and 120 air balloons.

On April 28, Chinese Museum of Funds, Yao Jianping Embroidery Art Gallery, Zhang Xinjia Art Gallery, Cai Yundi Carving Art Gallery, Basel Contemporary Art Gallery, and Harley-Davidson motorcycle are to open to the public.
On April 28, International Culture & Design Industry Fair 2012 Suzhou is to open at Suzhou Expo Center and the agenda includes forum, project negotiations, contract signing, and award-winning works exhibition.
From April 28 to May 1, Fashion Shopping Festival is to open at Harmony Times Square and the activities include shopping at Jiuguang Department Store, shopping street, tourism promotion, and travel photography exhibition.
From April 29 to May 1, 80 players will present their courage and skills on Jinji Lake during Spring Invitational Sail Boat Race. Relevant events include yachts and sail boats show, photography competition, and diving training session.
