SIP Holds a Report Meeting in Beijing on Realizing Basic Modernization
On January 5, Suzhou Industrial Park government held a report meeting in Beijing to brief about its plan on being the first among national development zones to realize basic modernization in 2012 and to announce the target indicators. At the meeting, the Ministry of Science & Technology Torch Center recognized SIP as the "Pilot Unit in Building National Torch Technological Service System" and the Ministry of Environmental Protection named SIP the "National Pilot Park in Building Ecological Civilization".
