2011 China Animation Market
 
     
Animation industry is claimed as the most promising industry in the 21th Century. Inspiring achievements of China's animation industry have been obtained through the promotion of government departments concerned. As a national animation industry base, Suzhou has clustered many outstanding animation enterprises and produced lots of animation movies and TV plays. In order to upgrade innovation capabilities of and push forward the cooperation among upstream and downstream local animation enterprises, Suzhou Industrial Park has held China Animation Market for three consecutive years. On July 9, 2011, many domestic and international animation professionals gathered in SIP again.
Tens of international animation professionals and about ten officials of outstanding domestic children's channels attended the conference, including producer Randy Dormans of Kung Fu Panda 2, computer graphics supervisor Dan Lobl of Spider-Man, the Smurfs and Harry Potter, and Brian Miller, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cartoon Network Studios.
