Sponsored by the Publicity Department of CPC SIP Working Committee (SIP Culture, Sports and Tourism Office), the 2nd SIP Extraordinary Travel Season kicked off on May 19, and will last till late October. At the opening ceremony, seven tourist routes, including two “all-for-one tourism” routes, four for parents and kids and one for seniors, were unveiled to meet the demands of different groups for recreational travel.
The routes were devised to take full advantage of the tourism resources at Jinji, Yangcheng and Dushu lakes to give tourists extraordinary travel experiences.
The “all-for-one tourism” routes cover the major tourist projects across SIP, including rowboat and cycling tours, visits to a number of tourist attractions, etc. The parent-child routes encompass sports, art, reading and science activities. The one for seniors boasts vehicle services for sightseeing, visits to the Buddhist Chongyuan Temple and retirement communities.
It is noteworthy that the event is part of a program that is going on across SIP to stimulate nighttime consumption. Therefore, there are a diversity of tourist products and projects available at night.
A total of 100 people including media workers, travel enthusiasts and local residents experienced the “all-for-one tourism” routes on the same day. According to the event organizer, 800 citizens and tourists will have chances to experience the “all-for-one tourism” routes free of charge, and subsidized tickets for all the seven routes will be offered through several online platforms.
