Communities in SIP’s Dongshahu sub-district are hosting various events to usher in the Chinese New Year which, also referred to as Spring Festival, will fall on Jan 25 this year.

 

Fenghuangcheng Community hosted a Chinese New Year bazaar where the residents hunted for bargains like food products, fruits and clothes for their Spring Festival celebrations, or gifts for their friends and relatives.

 

Dongshahu Community Club recently joined hands with a number of local calligraphy enthusiasts to write Spring Festival couplets for local residents to decorate their doors during the festival as a token of good wishes for the new year.
