A total of 82 individuals, institutions and projects received the Wu Wenjun AI Science & Technology Award (Wu Wenjun Award for short) in SIP on Nov 30 for their outstanding contributions to AI development.

 

Initiated by Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) in 2011, Wu Wenjun Award is named after renowned Chinese mathematician and AI master Wu Wenjun. An award ceremony is held on a yearly basis, and the winners can receive honors along with money awards.

 

It is worth mentioning that Juhe Data, an Internet data service company that started out in SIP in 2010, garnered the “Wu Wenjun Award for Advancement in AI Technology” with its industry-leading technological innovation project. 

 

SIP Administrative Committee signed an agreement with CAAI at the event to expand and deepen strategic cooperation in developing SIP into a good example nationwide for AI technology development and commercialization. 

 

The three-day 2019 Annual Meeting of Chinese AI Industry kicked off concurrently, consisting of discussions, dialogues, exhibitions, reports and project presentations to share the latest AI research findings and brainstorm strategies for future development of related technologies and businesses.
