The DRIVE (Digital Retinal Images for Vessel Extraction) solution developed by a team at SIP-based Suzhou BioX Research Institute recently scooped the first place in the DRIVE category under the Grand Challenges award program which is designed to foster worldwide innovation to solve key health and development problems.

 

The solution boasts deeper-level downsampling and more advanced data processing and analyzing techniques compared with other solutions of similar kind to ensure more precise imaging results. 

 

Suzhou BioX Research Institute was erected in SIP last year, dedicated to study on big data, machine vision and natural language processing to provide AI-based consulting services and solutions for medical treatments.
