SIP Moon Bay Community Working Committee has been making great efforts to enrich its “Rong’ai Lectures”, a public education program that the committee launched in 2015 to offer local adults and kids various learning opportunities.

It is learnt that lectures under the program are devised based on the residents’ needs and are open to all the people interested in them.

In the recent months, a series of courses on stage play and public speaking were offered to kids while others on paper cutting were offered to adults, along with opportunities for the learners to showcase their learning outcomes. Besides, a learning tour was organized on Oct 13 for a group of residents to visit Chinese Kunqu Opera Museum at Pingjiang Historic District, Suzhou to gain a better understanding of Kunqu opera, one of the oldest forms of Chinese opera.
The committee disclosed that it will continue to collect opinions and suggestions from the residents and then improve the program based on that.
