Xinsheng Garden Community in SIP’s Shengpu Sub-district on Aug 15 hosted a carnival in collaboration with a local paper making company, offering the participating youngsters a good chance to learn more about paper.

 

As part of the event, the youngsters first visited the company’s Paper Culture Museum where they acquired a good knowledge of the historical evolution of paper making techniques, competed in sorting cards with pictures of different kinds of garbage and putting them into corresponding trash cans, and made paper vases with the help and instruction of the staff there. 

After that, in two age groups, the youngsters took part in a series of fun games devised to test their teamwork spirit, physical agility, patience and stamina.
