SIP’s A-class scenic spots saw 486,300 tourist arrivals during the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival holiday from June 7 to 9, up 12.46% year-on-year, according to the latest statistics.

Among the most-visited spots is Jinji Lake Scenic Area where the light shows at the Oriental Arc, the audio-visual shows at Jinji Lake Music Fountain, the Doraemon-themed exhibition at Suzhou Eslite Bookstore and other cultural and art events attracted a continuous flow of visitors. Moreover, an AI map designed for the festival was in service to recommend routes and services to users.

The 2019 China Telecom “Hello 5G Cup” Jinji Lake Dragon Boat Race held at Jinji Lake on June 7 gathered not only 1,348 Chinese and overseas contestants but also more than 40,000 spectators.

Apart from that, many people enjoyed happy cycling and good fortune praying tours at Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort (YLPTR), while others spent several happy hours with their families and friends at HB World, a YLPTR-based film-themed entertainment complex, or in self-driving?tours to experience the charm of the most popular attractions in SIP.
