In the exhibition hall at SIP Jinji Lake School, the exquisite microlandschaft decorations mimicking Suzhou-style gardens have amazed all the viewers, and more surprisingly, they are all made by the school’s students.

The exhibits feature miniature mockups of ancient-style architectures and landscapes composed of succulent plants, mosses, cobblestones and colored sand in glass vases of round or other shapes.

The school said the works are from the students who are attending a series of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) courses which, including those on pottery and 3D printing, are designed to match the students’ practical skills with their theoretical knowledge.
