Several SIP authorities including SIP Customs, Tax Bureau, Economic Development Committee and Investment Promotion Bureau jointly held a symposium with executives from 30 multinationals in SIP on Apr 11, learning about their needs and exchanging opinions with them.

The latest statistics show that SIP is now home to 4,000-plus foreign-funded projects, including over 130 invested by Fortune 500 enterprises. The SIP authorities hoped that the meeting could help them know better about the project operators' needs so that they can provide more effective support to them.

At the event, the attendees from Bosch, Johnson and Johnson, SIG Combibloc and several other companies shared their development plans with the others and offered SIP authorities suggestions on ways of strengthening talent and business support. The authorities promised to improve local business environment and enhance trade and investment facilitation in the future.
