SKEMA Business School (Suzhou) in SIP’s Dushu Lake Science & Education Innovation Zone hosted its annual Startup Coffee on Apr 4, offering a number of Chinese and French college students an opportunity to present their business ideas.

At the event, each of the students had 5 to 10 minutes to expound on their business ideas to a group of Chinese and foreign experts and startup founders who then exchanged opinions with the students and offered them advice.

For example, Alexandre, an overseas graduate student at the school, wants to invent a music headrest for tourists, and Yu Lei, a Chinese student from Southeast University, hopes to build a social network platform for foreigners in the country.

Additionally, taking the chance, the school and Xi’an Jiaotong University Suzhou Academy jointly announced to launch a shared program to offer a set of courses on innovation and startup operation.
