Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) in SIP recently received approval from 　 the Ministry of Education of China to add to its curriculum courses on data science and big data technology, robotics, smart manufacturing, Internet of Things, supply chain management as well as art and technology.

The school revealed that the courses will be offered at six new schools it plans to set up in collaboration with Haier, Sugon, Siasun, Eolane (China), AMT and China Cultural Media Group, all leading companies in their fields. It hopes that the new courses will help cultivate more professionals to meet the increasing talent demand in these fields.
