Golf Community in SIP's Huxi sub-district hosted an event on Feb 15 to mark the Chinese Lantern Festival which, reckoned on the fifteenth day of the first month on the Chinese lunar calendar, falls on Feb 19 this year.

The local activity room, where the event was held, was decorated with 100 beautiful traditional Chinese festive lanterns of different shapes, each tied with a piece of scrip with a riddle on it. The participating residents set their wits to figure out the answers to the riddles and those who gave the right answers won gifts.

The event also included a series of handy services. Several volunteers performed the song Chinese Dream for the residents, while others provided free knife sharpening, blood pressure testing and clothes mending to those in need of the services.
