Chinese Consortium (also known as Suzhou Industrial Park Co Ltd), founded in 1996 by 14 Chinese enterprises to support SIP's development, and ORIZA Holdings, an investment and financing service company started out in SIP in 2001, signed an agreement on Feb 13 to launch long-term strategic cooperation in investment, fund management and financing consultancy.

It is learnt that Chinese Consortium was one of the shareholders of ORIZA Holdings' predecessor China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park VC Investment Co Ltd, and also a contributor to ORIZA Holdings' market-oriented platform management fund. This has laid a good foundation for the two parties' cooperation under the agreement.
