SIP recently unveiled the list of winners of SIP CSR Awards, a set of awards designed to celebrate local companies with outstanding performance in implementing corporate social responsibilities (CSR). SJEC and Sun Tin Lun Garment Accessories (SIP) Co Ltd, two companies based in Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort (YLPTR), are on the list.

Founded in 1992, SJEC is a globally renowned elevator and escalator manufacturer. It received in 2008 the SA8000 CSR certification from Norway-based certification body DNV GL, and has been releasing annual CSR report to the public since 2009. The company received the award for "Companies with the Highest Sense of Social Responsibility".

Sun Tin Lun Garment Accessories (SIP) Co Ltd, a joint venture founded by a Hong Kong company and its partner in Chinese mainland, is dedicated to the production of garments and accessories. Its parent caring program which, launched in 2010 to remit to each staff member's parents RMB 202 (RMB 100 from the staff member and RMB 102 from the company) each quarter, won the "Excellent Case" award.
