Representatives from YRD Region discuss integrated fintech development

The Seminar on Fintech Development and Chained Resources Pooling in YRD Region cum Roundup of 2018 Outcomes took place in SIP on Jan 28, gathering officials and experts from the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region to discuss strategies for integrated development of financial technologies and innovative financial services in the area.

The "Fintech Development and Chained Resources Pooling in YRD Region" project, led by SIP Business Development Service Center (SIP-BDSC), is part of a national R&D program aimed at propelling all-around high tech development and application in the YRD region which generally comprises Shanghai and 26 cities in East China's Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces.

At the event, Su Ting, an SIP-BDSC staffer from the project team, made an overall report on the project, while representatives from other parties involved shared their practices and experience. Prof. Zhao Weidong from Tongji University, the leading organization for the implementation of the national program mentioned above, offered advice on future plans for the project.
