Sponsored by SIP Labor and Social Security Bureau and organized by SIP Human Resources Development Co Ltd, the first leg of 2019 SIP "Labor Pooling" Job Fairs was held at SIP HR Market on Jan 16, when over 200 large-scale enterprises each with at least 200 employees offered hundreds of job vacancies to the job hunters.

The "Labor Pooling" job fairs, completely free to both the employers and the job hunters, are an extension of the local "Labor Pooling" program designed to give enterprises in urgent and large demand of new hires a helping hand in their recruitment. It is learnt that a variety of on- and off-line job fairs under the program helped match 153 employers with over 6,500 job applicants last year.

Thanks to the organizer's considerate services, including effective multi-channel advertising and free on-site resume printing service, the event ended up with a great success. The enterprises received a total of 506 applications and reached tentative agreements with 194 of the applicants.

It is reported that the "Labor Pooling" job fairs will last throughout the whole year, and the second leg is set to take place on Feb 18.
