People walk to embrace environmental protection concepts
The Jinji Lake CBD authority organized a hiking on Nov 24, in a move to call on the local people to embrace environmental protection concepts. A total of 300 local enterprise employees and their families participated.
The participants viewed an array of posters bearing environmental protection tips before they started walking along a designated 6-kilometer route with five control points where they had chances to win stamps in games, knowledge quizzes and other activities. Those who arrived at the destination exchanged their stamps for souvenirs, and some of them received prizes in a lucky draw.
"The event offered us a good chance to learn more about environmental protection and do physical exercises. We hope there will be more events of similar kind in the future," said a mother who participated together with her kids.
