Retired news photographer's works on display

Sponsored by SIP Huxi Community Working Committee, the Zhong Mei's Photography Works and Family Archives exhibition opened at Xincheng Neighborhood Center on Oct 31, as one of the events to mark the 40th anniversary of the country's reform and opening-up policy.

On display are a number of photos taken by Zhong Mei, a 94-year-old retired news photographer living in SIP's Huzuo'an Community. Among them are many valuable historical pictures of the country's most memorable events and top leaders, and those about daily life in SIP.

It is reported that, in addition to the neighborhood center, the works will be displayed over the following one month at several resident liaison centers in Huxi sub-district, SIP Dushu Lake Library, Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre and Huzuo'an Community.
