Suzhou expected to see a boom of biomedicine industry in the near future

Suzhou government is sparing no efforts to make the biomedicine industry a leading industry within the next three years, as it announced early this year in its Three-Year Action Plan for Industrial Upgrading (2018 to 2020).

The city is currently the home to more than 3,000 biomedicine enterprises which record a total output value of over RMB 100 billion. The local government has been offering preferential policies and financial support to propel related business incubation, development and innovation, and the efforts have paid off. A number of biomedicine industrial parks have been erected across the city, and the enterprises engaged in the field have seen a fast development.

With BioBay, one of the city's most prosperous biomedicine clusters, SIP is endeavoring hard to give a leg up to local biomedicine companies in their growth. Thanks to its support, the companies have made remarkable achievements in developing new medical products and technologies.
