New facial recognition system can identify people's expressions
NISE, a domestically leading AI algorithm and intelligent chip developer in SIP, recently launched a 3D facial recognition system that can precisely identify a face and its expressions within 200 milliseconds even under faint light.
The company reportedly owns more than 20 patents and copyrights for AI technologies, with smart products and solutions applied in 25 provinces (municipalities, autonomous regions) across the country.
The new system boasts extraordinary recognition accuracy and high-level data security guaranteed by privileged access management.
"The 2D system can tell you who the person is, while the 3D system tells you how he or she feels. For example, in schools, it can help the teachers know better about the students' response to their lectures," the company's general manager Chi Zhen said.
