Community enhances efforts to better serve women and children
SIP's Haide Community launched a program last year to provide learning opportunities to the local women and children, which received positive response from the residents. This year, the community has enhanced their efforts to better serve these groups.
On the one hand, the community has upgraded the courses on traditional Chinese calligraphy, flower arrangement and makeup, which were the best-received courses last year. Those on calligraphy and flower arrangement concluded recently, showing good effects in enriching the females' life and helping them seek continuous self-development.
On the other hand, the community is pushing on a "Family Day" program, designed to hold parent-child events on a regular basis to help the participants tighten their family ties. The first event under the program was held on July 22, when the children and their parents did three experiments that aroused the children's interest in science.
