SIP officials attend training on public culture
Officials from SIP's cultural departments, public libraries and SIP Cultural Centre attended 2018 SIP Workshop on Public Culture at SIP Library on July 16, when they acquired a better understanding of their duties in public cultural dissemination and gained inspiration for doing a better job in the future.
At the event, Ke Ping, a professor from Department of Information Resource Management at Nankai University and council member of Library Society of China, gave a talk on a series of hot issues concerning public culture, including related theories, policies and programs.
Liu Xiaoqin, inspector at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China and deputy president of Library Society of China, expounded on the significance of public culture in social and economic development, gave high praise to SIP's public cultural programs and offered advice for further improvement.
