SIP restaurant's noodle declared one of Suzhou's top 10 noodles


At the recently concluded "Top 10 Suzhou Noodles" Competition, the noodle made by Chongyuan Temple Xiangjichu Buddhist Cuisine Restaurant was declared one of Suzhou's top 10 noodles, while those made by other five restaurants in SIP received high comments from the jurors.

The competition, sponsored by Suzhou Tourism Administration in collaboration with other four government departments, is designed to help more people acquire a better knowledge of Suzhou-style cuisines and the culture behind them.

The noodles are not only delicious food but also artistic works that demonstrate the cooks' attitude toward their profession and life. Without exception, the noodles boast elaborate nutritious recipes, time-consuming cooking procedures and innovative modifications of traditional cooking techniques to meet modern people's tastes.
