SIP's Loufeng Sub-district recently saw a variety of events designed to enable the local youngsters to enjoy a happy and meaningful summer vacation from early July to late August.

Communities like Su'annan, Xinsu and Meihua respectively offered dancing, painting and pottery making courses from July 5 to 10, hoping to help the youngsters' develop artistic talents.

In the event at Fengtang Community, the children learnt knowledge on the Communist Party of China and national flag from the volunteer teacher's explanations and an animated movie about a Chinese revolutionary heroine, and also made flag-raising platforms and learnt to perform revolutionary songs.

Guandu Community held a promotion for a local summer camp on July 10, revealing details about related activities and schedules to the residents and recruiting new volunteers.

Wencuilu Community organized a training session on first aid on July 10, when the youngsters practiced cardio-pulmonary resuscitation skills following the volunteer teacher's instruction and demonstration.
