The Desserts & Sports Carnival, the second of six legs of the QBABY Children's Balance Bike Open, a brand event hosted by Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort (YLPTR), kicked off at YLPTR Xihuwan Eco-Sports Park on June 10. Lots of children and their parents enjoyed a good day in a series of cycling rivalries and fun games.

In five groups, 80 children aged between 2 to 5 competed in the cycling preliminaries, repechages, semifinals and finals riding their balance bikes. All the children who finished the contests received certificates and medals, while the winners received trophies, cycling jerseys and other gifts and the top three in each group gained the entry to the finals.

The event also incorporated a dessert DIY contest and a series of fun games, where the children and their parents spent several happy hours together. Besides, a teacher from a professional educational organization gave a lecture on sensory integration and skill-related fitness to the families, hoping it will help children seek an all-around physical and mental development.
