Jinji Lake Walkway expected to come into service late this year
A bridge that will enable people on it to get very close to the lake surface is being built in the north of Jinji Lake Avenue, as part of the Jinji Lake Walkway project launched last November.
The walkway, 16 km long and 4 to 6 km wide, is one of SIP’s major infrastructure projects planned to complete this year in a move to upgrade the local public facilities while beautifying the environment. It boasts five cross-lake bridges connecting with surrounding tourist attractions and can take people to the middle of the lake.
The project is expected to come into service in the second half of this year. It will take people about three hours to walk through it.
