Holland Hi-Tech China Center Holds MEMS-theme Seminar in Shanghai
On March 14, Holland Hi-Tech China Center (HHTCC), established by Nanopolis Suzhou Co., Ltd. and the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs, held a seminar on "semiconductor design, device and MEMS" at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Shanghai, and invited 7 members of Business Cluster Semiconductors Netherlands(BCS) and 10-odd Chinese enterprises to attend.
Taake Maaning, sci-tech exhibitor of the consulate general, and Barry Peet, Managing Director of BCS, introduced to the attendees the situation and research direction of the semiconductor industry in Holland. Philipp Barth, an official of a delegation of the European Union to China, introduced Europe's innovative project "Horizon 2020". Li Qing, Director of HHTCC, briefed the attendees on the center's operation mode and its role in sci-tech cooperation activities of China and Holland. On behalf of Chinese participants, Yang Daoguo, Dean of School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Guilin University of Electronic Technology, made a presentation on China's semiconductor industry.
