SIP Calligraphers Association Founded to Enhance SIP Cultural Profile

On August 28, Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) Calligraphers Association, the "Home" of SIP calligraphers and calligraphy lovers, was officially founded, which will have a profound impact on the establishment of SIP cultural brand.

SIP Calligraphers Association, under the leadership of SIP Social Development Bureau, is an academic mass organization spontaneously set up by calligraphers and calligraphy lovers working and living in SIP, and aims to boost SIP spiritual and cultural life and carry on and promote calligraphy art.

At present, SIP Calligraphers Association has 68 members,aged from 20 to 80. With permanently site in SIP Cultural Center, the Association will regularly organize calligraphy exhibitions and public calligraphy lectures to popularize the calligraphic art and knowledge, to arouse people's interest in calligraphy and to exchange calligraphy art with other regions by taking part in various calligraphy contests.
