Subway CEO Visits Group's Record-Holding Star Store at Neighborhood Center

CEO Fred DeLuca of Subway Restaurants, the world's second largest fast-food chain, visited Xincheng Neighborhood Center in Suzhou Industrial Park on the morning of March 9. Subway chain has been named the No.1 franchise opportunity in all categories by Entrepreneur magazine in its Annual Franchise 500 for 17 times in the past 23 years.

In 2008, Subway store located at Xincheng Neighborhood Center broke the global record of weekly turnover after it had opened for business for merely 4 months. As a result, the store became the first Chinese franchise receiving Mr. DeLuca's handwritten congratulatory letter among 35,000 stores all over the world. During his visit, the CEO recognized the efforts made by the management of Neighborhood Center for creating such a favorable working environment for and offering comprehensive support to his local staff.
