SIP Cultural Center Showcases Traditional Dresses and Accessories for Women

 

 

Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) Cultural Center held an exhibition starting on March 8 on the traditional dresses and accessories of women of the water town Shengpu.

 

These exhibits listed as Intangible Cultural Heritage are the prides of women in Shengpu Town and the exhibition introduces the fabrics, cutting, sewing, and ornament highlights of these dresses, especially the exquisite craftsmanship of splicing, binding, hand-made buttons, and embroidery.
