Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) held a meeting on the afternoon of March 3 at Sci-Edu Innovation Park, announcing the year's plan of producing 1,000 senior mechanics in 10 job categories. According to the plan, SIP is to produce 1,000 technical leaders, train 10,000 highly skilled mechanics, and recruit 100,000 senior technicians in three to five years.

SIP authority concerned studied thirty members of seven industrial associations and decided to focus on ten job categories in the three sectors of technology, manufacturing, and service. The ten jobs are: three-dimensional animator, IC designer, software product inspector, programmer, forklift operator, welder, crane operator, warehouse clerk, call center operator, and restaurant attendants.
