Student from XJTLU to Perform at the World Youth Carnival

 

SIMAX, a student band from Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), the country's only college co-founded by Chinese and foreign higher education institutions, has been invited to perform at the World Youth Carnival, which is part of the activities held during Expo 2010 Shanghai.

Founded in October 2009 with full-time students, the band's repertoire includes Croatian Rhapsody, works by Paganini, and Chinese folk music "Jasmine", etc.
