Volvo Golf China Open to Be Held by Jinji Lake on April 15-18

The press conference on March 3 announced that Suzhou Jinji Lake International Golf Club would host this year's Volvo China Open from April 15 to 18.

Suzhou Jinji Lake International Golf Club is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jinji Lake Hotel Group and opened for business in June 2006. Designed by golfing legend Gary Player, the club has three nine-hole courses with distinctively different characteristics, one in stunning link style, one featuring wetlands with many ponds and creeks, and one centering on trees and forest. The Open will be played over the wetlands and links, among which the latter is more challenging according to the designer and it features waving and treacherous course, long grass, and the designer's trademark bunkers, while the wetland link stands out with waterfront views and bushes by the lake.
