Dushu Lake Library Holds an Exhibition Commemorating 112th Birthday of Former Premier Zhou Enlai

 

To commemorate the 112th birthday of former Premier Zhou Enlai (5 March 1898-8 January 1976), the most popular state leader and the first premier of New China (1 October 1949 - 8 January 1976 in office), Suzhou Dushu Lake Library launched a one-month serial commemorative activities on March 5.

The exhibits include paintings, calligraphic works, badges, bronze statues, souvenir medals, and photo albums. The owner of these exhibits is Mr. Pei Guorong from the planned Zhou Enlai Documents Archive and he hoped to share his three-decade collection with more people.

Time: March 5-April 8, 2010
Venue: Exhibition Hall, 4th Floor, Suzhou Dushu Lake Library
