Dushu Lake Swimming Complex Introduces Olympic Water Management Standards

Dushu Lake Swimming Complex has contracted with Shanghai Pool Water Treatment Co., Ltd. to monitor and improve the water quality since February 1. The company is one of the contractors at National Aquatics Center, also known as the Water Cube, during 2008 Beijing Olympics. As a result, Dushu Lake Swimming Complex becomes the city's first public facility to introduce the pool water monitoring standards similar to that of the Water Cube.

The company will use an environment-friendly and hazard-free chemical to effectively optimize a dozen of water quality data so as to improve the quality of pool water, to reduce the frequency of water changing, and to extend the "life cycle" of water. As a result, the company will help the swimming complex to reduce water consumption by 20% in a year.
