Expo Mascot Attends Xinghai Primary School's Opening Ceremony

 

 

On the opening day for Spring Semester held on February 25, the boys and girls at Xinghai Primary School found to their surprise a special guest, Haibao the big blue mascot of the coming Expo 2010 Shanghai. The school management introduced the new pal and the coming big event to the students and encouraged them to be good students.

 

 

According to the plans for the new semester, the students will participate in a series of activities centering on Expo 2010, write articles and draw comics about the year's most important event in this country. The purpose is to foster the sense of social responsibilities among young generation and to help them blend in the progressing society.
