Shengpu Town Holds First Job Market and Offers 2,170 Jobs after Holiday

After the holiday, the town and residential community authorities in Suzhou Industrial Park launched several job markets to help both local enterprises and job-seekers. The catchwords on the red banner read "Promoting Equal Employment Opportunity and Creating a Harmonious Society" and the local authority hoped the "Spring Breeze Campaign" would help more people get jobs. Apart from introducing jobs, other tasks of these job fairs are to distribute materials on job policies and introduce training programs.
At Shengpu Town Job Fair held on February 23, local companies offered a total of 2,170 jobs and made the first recruitment event in the Year of Tiger a big attraction to job-hunters.

Some going to the fair with the hope of getting a good job found the free materials very useful. The card of job tips, for example, lists 12 issues of salary payment, social insurance, labor dispute arbitration, and birth-control policies, which makes it a comprehensive guide for the job-hunters to negotiate with the employer on salary and training so as to protect their rights and interests.
