Greening Project in Full Swing along Weiting Section of Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway

To finish the landscaping project along Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway in Suzhou Industrial Park before 2010 Expo Shanghai, the contractors started with a tight schedule the land-filling greening work along the northern flank of the railway in Weiting Town on February 6.

 

The 12km-long project starts from Lujing River in the west and ends at the area bordering with Kunshan in the east. The total earthwork is estimated at 1140,000 cubic meters and the project is divided into 10 sections contracted to 10 units. The construction period lasts from February 6 to 28.
