SIP Companies Make Presence at Expo Shanghai 2010

Since Shanghai was announced to host World Expo 2010, the companies based in Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) have grasped the golden opportunity and got a considerable number of orders from the year's biggest event in the country.

 

 

SIP Animation Companies Produce Several Cartoon Series on Expo 2010
With the authorization of Shanghai World Expo Coordination Bureau, SIP Administrative Committee was in charge of the production of 52-episode Season Two of Here Comes Haibao. Dozens of enterprises in Shanghai and Jiangsu competed for the project and Suzhou Jiubao Animation won. The company invested three million yuan and was responsible for the story script and character modeling.

Hong Ying Animation got the order contracted by Shanghai Media Group (SMG) on the production of cartoon series Haibao Guiding You through Expo Pavilions, while Suzhou Kimono Digital Animation Production Company participated in the production of another animation movie introducing Expo 2010.

 

 

The Elevators of Four Expo Pavilions are Made in SIP

As a leading domestic manufacturer, Suzhou Jiangnan JiaJie Elevator Co. Ltd. signed contracts with Germany Pavilion, Oman Pavilion, and Italy Pavilion, and Qatar will be next on its customer list.

 

 

Diploma Suzhou is City's Only Dining Services Provider at Expo 2010

Diploma (Suzhou) Technological Service will provide 5,000 servings of Chinese set meals in eight varieties on a daily basis during the event and is the only catering service provider from Suzhou at the Expo. The Diploma restaurant is located close to China Pavilion covering 700 square meters and with 240 seats.

Apart from providing catering services, a local hi-tech company will be in charged of food safety. OptoTrace Technologies developed the next-generation portable FT-Raman device featuring high precision and best price-performance with comprehensive applications in food and drug safety test.
