Local Stores Offer Holiday Sales and Festival Gifts to Shoppers

Shopping is a big event for all holidays and to prepare for the coming lunar New Year, every family has a long shopping list. To boost the business, almost all local stores and shops offer holiday sales and some even hand out free gifts and organize lucky draws.

On February 6 through 20, a series of theme activities kick off at Harmony Times Square to celebrate the coming Year of the Tiger. The west street of Skydome Square gathers the traditional supplies for the Spring Festival from all over the country including food, handcrafts, and snacks. Attend the Lucky Draw held at Times Square and try your luck for the New Year. Other activities launched in cooperation with Jiuguang Department Store and Wee-World include the lion dance, the making of New Year rice cake, and the God of Wealth presenting gifts.

Vanguard Supermarket offers one 60-yuan voucher for every 300-yuan purchase and maximum three vouchers for one shopping receipt. The voucher can be used in all Vanguard stores in the city.
